First Snow
There’s two sides to winter: the magical side, filled with whimsy and gift giving and fluffy snowflakes and ice skating, and the realistic side, where we have to trudge through the slushy, dirty snow in temperatures that literally hurt. This shawl is meant to make us forget the reality and evoke the magic of the season, even if only for a moment.
First Snow is an oversized triangle shawl, made with meditative stitches, and color play near the three-dimensional border. Cuddle in near the fire, grab a mug of mulled wine and enjoy your time creating!
More information and the First Snow pattern can be found in the December ‘22 issue of Crochet Foundry Magazine, found here!
