Oakland Avenue Shawl

I ride the bus to get around my home city of Milwaukee, and one of the streets I find myself on the most is Oakland Avenue. It’s filled with everything you could want in a city street - beautiful architecture, tasty restaurants, unique boutiques, and just blocks away from Lake Michigan.

This shawl was inspired by this street and by the life of the city - oversized, dramatic, but still pretty and filled with visual interest. It’s lighter and airier than it looks, but still able to keep you warm through all seasons.

More information and the Oakland Avenue Shawl pattern are available now on Ravelry and Payhip on a pay-what-you-can basis (suggested price: $4.00 USD)!
