New Crochet Pattern - The Oakland Avenue Shawl!
Hey y’all! I’m pleased to announce the release of my newest pattern, the Oakland Avenue Shawl!
It’s inspired by the street of the same name in my hometown of Milwaukee, and all the life around the area that I get to see on my frequent bus rides. I’d had this idea for a while, but didn’t exactly know how I wanted to implement it. It wasn’t quite as grand and geometric as the downtown area depicted in my Skylines Shawl, but I still wanted to get across the hustle and bustle, and most of all, the people.
When it finally came to me, it came to me in a rush. I worked feverishly on this one - even with a few mistakes of the “rip out everything you’ve done and start over” variety, this shawl only took me nine days! I was just so excited to get it to everyone!
You can find the Oakland Avenue Shawl here! I hope you all enjoy working on this shawl as much as I did, lovelies.
